The inaugural Holiday Hoopfest tipped off this past weekend as teams from Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa descended on the Badger state for two days of exciting hoops action that featured some of the top middle school phenoms in the Midwest.  2015 swingman Andrew Davis led the way in the 8th grade division as he captured division M.O.P. honors and led his team to the championship in the process.  Here’s a look at the All-Tournament team from the 14u division at this past weekend’s event…

14U CHAMPIONS – DTA SPARTANS
14U 2ND PLACE – INDIANA THUNDER
14U 3RD PLACE – PLAYGROUND ELITE

14U MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER – ANDREW DAVIS – DTA SPARTANS
Was spectacular throughout the weekend as he brought athleticism, heart, and effort to the table game in and game out.  Attacked the glass, was active on the defensive end, and showed an ability to dominate the game at times on both ends of the floor.  Excellent overall effort.
