The highly rated 2024 recruiting class for Rutgers continues to grow as they have now added their fourth commitment. The latest commitment comes from Dylan Grant, a 6’7” forward of Michigan Collegiate and The Family. He joins Lathan Sommerville, Bryce Dortch, and top five nationally ranked wing Ace Bailey in head coach Steve Pikiell’s class.

The recruitment stock for Grant really built over the past several months with his play with The Family. On the EYBL this past season he averaged 12.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Over the past few months, he picked up offers from Cincinnati, DePaul, Loyola-Chicago, as well to Rutgers who had just offered the senior earlier this month. Prior to this year he was also offered by Eastern Michigan, Oakland, Toledo, and VCU.

Rutgers is adding a highly versatile piece to their 2024 recruiting class. The athletic, physical, and lengthy forward is an impactful player on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he has the ability to defend multiple positions at a high level. Offensively, he plays strong attacking the basket and finishing strong around the paint but has also shown the ability to stretch the floor.

With the addition of Grant, the Scarlet Knights have a top five recruiting class in the nation and one of their best in program history. Rutgers is also among the final five for coveted five-star Dylan Harper. The addition of Harper to this already highly touted class could make it the best in the nation.
