After a thrilling Friday night of action, Saturday was just as action packed. With some of the top teams and prospects from across region and beyond, there was plenty of great games throughout the day. Here are a few of the standouts from today’s action.

Dekwon Brown – 2024 – PG – Denard Bros.

Brown has had plenty of high-level games this spring but was simply elite today against a very good defensive George Hill backcourt. In a one-point victory, Brown went for 25 points. He was taking over down the stretch hitting some tough contested threes. Brown is showing he is one of the elite 2024-point guards in the Midwest who is a must see for mid-major programs and is showing high major upside if he continues this play.

Navontae Nesbit – 2024 – G – Team Jabari Parker

It was a 31-point outburst for Nesbit tonight in a win. Nesbit is such an explosive guard that was unstoppable attacking the basket. He uses his strength effectively playing through contact and finishing through a crowd but can also hit shots from the outside. Nesbit shows great upside and could be a huge stock riser in the coming months.

Deunte Phifer – 2024 – G/F – Reach Legends

Phifer scored 14 points up against Team Temple but is making this list for the last three he scored by way of a corner jumper which came in the final seconds to give Reach the 64-63 victory.  He is a length 6’5” wing that shows a lot of tools for the next level with his play on both ends.

Azavier Robinson – 2025 – PG – George Hill All Indy

In was another tremendous showing for the highly regarded 2025-point guard. He scored 22 points, getting it done from the outside and going strong to the basket. All game he was flying around the court making plays. He picked up an offer from Oklahoma State today.

Angel Sonnier – 2024 – PG – Houston Superstars

With his 29 points in a win against a very good Chapman Basketball team, Sonnier was an easy pick for this list. A dynamic playmaker that creates for himself so well whether it be hitting shots from the outside or getting all the way to the basket and finishing in traffic. Sonnier continues to play at a very high level this spring in the first two weeks of the NY2LA Association.
