After a strong grassroots season with REACH Legends, it has been a very busy fall for Tyler Spratt with all his college visits. The 6’4” 2024 two guard of North Farmington (MI) has taken several visits division one and two programs around the nation recently.

He has taken visits to Cleveland State, Houston, Saginaw Valley, Texas Southern, Toledo, Wayne State, and Western Michigan this fall. A few of these visits stood out from the rest as “they made it feel more like home than business,” Spratt said. He broke down a few of the visits that he enjoyed the most.

For the visit to in-state Western Michigan, “I got to play with the team and go hang out them after. They really made me feel a part of the team.”

“The coaching staff is great and talk to you more on a personal level than just basketball. Very welcoming of my family and I,” Spratt said about his trip to Cleveland State.

On his trip to Toledo, “I was able to watch their practice from start to finish to see their play style and was able to tour their facility.”

For his trip down south to Houston, “I was able to tour their facility and I just loved everything about it and how it was set up. Also, I liked how they take care of all their players.”

When describing his own game, he said “a player that will do it all no matter what side of the ball I’m on or whatever needs to be done. ” For his junior season that is quickly approaching, Spratt is looking to “Keep progressing in all aspects of my game and to start receiving offers. Also, I am trying to win a state championship in Michigan and get into the Mr. Basketball conversation.”
