On a recent official visit, senior Tyran Thomas picked up his first offer. The 6’4” wing guard of Northview High School (MI) and 94 Feet Elite picked up the offer from division two Frostburg State.

“It feels great knowing the hard work paid off,” Thomas said about picking up his first offer. When speaking about Frostburg State, he said “Everyone there is like a family and they have what I want to study which is big.”

When talking about his trip to the Maryland school, Thomas said “My visit there was great, from the tour, to meeting the professors, hanging gout with the players, it was a lot of fun.”

Over the spring and summer, Thomas played with one of the top teams on the NY2LA Association, 94 Feet Elite. “My season with 94 Feet Elite was great. I had a lot of fun with those guys there, someone I can call family.”

“A very athletic guard that can score at any time,” he said to describe his own game. His bounce was on full display throughout the year as he was one of the most athletic players on the entire NY2LA Association. Adding in about his offensive ability, “jump shot, going to the basket, getting second chance points off rebounds, and also getting my teammates great shots.”

Next up for Thomas is a visit to in-state Albion College.
