In addition to our top performers and stock boosters, here are additional players with a great deal of talent that really excelled at this year’s Swish N’ Dish.

Owen Freeman – 2023 – F/C – Mid Pro Academy

A true big man that is a force down on the block. Not only can he use his strength to score right through defenders but also has a nice array of post moves with good footwork to beat his man. He has soft touch and was often scoring through a crowd. As well he has continued to improve his ability to put the ball on the floor playing out on the perimeter. Iowa is getting a good one in Freeman.

Will Grudzinski – 2022 – G/F – Mac Irvin Fire

Grudzinski picked up right where he left off after his great Illinois state playoffs run with Barrington. He is an elite shooter with a great stroke that works to get his shots. At 6’6” he hits his shots well right over defenders but can also take it strong to basket fighting through contact.

Conrad Luczynski – 2022 – C – Illinois Wolves

Standing at well over seven feet tall, the unsigned senior quickly stands out. Not only does he have great size but runs the floor hard, moves well for his size, and knows how to play. With all his tools he is so tough to stop around the basket putting up scoring totals of 16 and 11 points in games scoring on a high percent of his post touches. The unsigned senior uses his frame well around the basket and has good touch finishing well with either hand. Somehow, he continues to fly under the radar without a single offer in this unique recruiting landscape we are currently in.

David Meriwether – 2023 – C – George Hill All Indy

For being 6’10”, Meriweather is very mobile and had a good array of abilities. Not only does he battle in the paint on both ends with his strength but can also put the ball on the floor. He plays with good energy on the floor and is just scratching the surface of his upside.

Reak Riak – 2023 – F – Movement Hoops

A high upside 6’8” forward that has continued to grow his game playing well on both ends of the floor. He scored it well in a variety of ways, getting it done with running hooks, rolling to the bucket, hitting mid-range jumpers, and running the floor. A tough interior defender that battles to protect the paint and goes hard to the boards.
