The games were off and firing on Saturday at the 2019 Next Level Invitational as teams went at it competitively all day long. Blake Peters (Fundamental U) put on a scoring clinic in one game and several other players put together huge outings to lead their teams. Catch a recap of much of Day 3's action below and see who did what to put themselves on the radar of several colleges in attendance. 

TOP PERFORMERS
MALACHI DAVIS – 2020 – PG – PEOPLES BASKETBALL

Davis was great for PBB on Saturday as he made play after play throughout the entire contest in their win over ECI. The talented guard hit shots and took defenders off the dribble to score attacking the basket. By the finish the Ontario product had put up an awesome 25 points to lead his team. 

FRED GARLAND – 2021 – G – MOTOR CITY GRIZZLIES
Garland put together one of the more impressive outings of the day with his gutsy effort Saturday late morning. The ’21 lefty prospect showed out with a great mid-range jump shot that he pulled up with and sank often. He also scored going at the rim and hit a big three-pointer late in the contest as his team fought back from a big deficit. Garland finished with 27 points and the respect of those watching after playing with tons of heart and effort. 

JAMES GRAHAM III – 2021 – F – PHENOM U EYBL
The Phenom’s emerging forward prospect had an outstanding game in a tightly fought contest against 3D Empire. Graham showed his shooting skill by burying mid and long-range jumpers with confidence and a nice release. He hit a couple three's and also finished on the rim with a sweet dunk in transition. He finished the game with 20 points to lead the Phenom deeper into the tournament. 

CALE JACOBSEN – 2022 – PG – LINCOLN SUPREME
Jacobsen showed out with his ability to attack the basket at will and put the pressure on the defense with his mid-range shooting ability. He finished at the hoop and hit jumpers as well as made the defense pay when they left him open for three by hitting one. Jacobsen ended up with 23 points in leading his team. 

LOGAN JEDWABNY – 2020 – G – WI BLIZZARD KURANDA 
Jedwabny picked up where he left off Friday with some more hot shooting, especially from the perimeter. He buried 5 three's, 4 of which came in the second half as the Blizzard tried to erase a large deficit. Jedwabny also made some other buckets inside the arc, including a longer range two off a pull up, and finished with 21 points. 

MAX KLESMIT – 2020 – G – WI BLIZZARD KURANDA
Like his teammate, Klesmit was also back to his scoring ways from the previous night, hitting a number of big shots and helped his team find its way back into contention in the second half. Klesmit hit jumpers, a couple put-back and lay-in opportunities, as well as sinking 3 treys. All that equaled out to 21 points and 4 assists. 

GRANT NELSON – 2020 – F – ECI PROSPECTS
Nelson was outstanding for ECI in a tough loss earlier Saturday.  The North Dakota State commit was shooting the ball from the perimeter with confidence and consistency, drilling 4 three-pointers. He also rebounded hard and that included on offense and got some extra looks at the basket because of it.  He handled the ball well and scored on the attack with good touch at the rim, tallying a game-high 26 points.

BLAKE PETERS – 2021 – SG – FUNDAMENTAL U
Peters put together maybe the performance of the tournament by any player with his effort in a tough loss Saturday. The tough prospect out of Illinois was on fire with his jumper and displayed his ability to get a look at any time by hitting off the dribble with stop-and-pops or step backs from three and fade away type shots, as well as a few buckets off offensive rebounds and finishing some free throw tries.  He hit 7 three's and finished awesomely with 37 points.

JORDAN RICE – 2021 – PG – QUAD CITY ELITE
Rice is ever-consistent from the point guard spot and he held true to that on Saturday with some more offensive firepower. He was aggressive to attack the hoop with his handles and quick step to get by defenders and had nice touch at the hoop. He also sank a three in the game and totaled up a nice 19n point-effort.

RYAN SROKA – 2020 – SG – MERCURY ELITE
Sroka has really been a scoring machine for Mercury Elite all AAU season and he continued that regard Saturday with another huge performance. The ’20 guard prospect drained 5 three’s and was finding different ways to score on the move off the bounce and filled up the hoop to the tune of 26 points to lead the way.

STOCK BOOSTERS 
ANTON BROOKSHIRE – 2021 – PG – YANDERS LAW

Brookshire again played so smooth in a couple of Yanders’ games Saturday scoring 17 points on hitting 3 treys and making other nice shots by attacking the rim with a seeming ease and great touch at the basket. He also passed the ball really well all day and put his teammates in great position to score. He hit some big time shots down the stretch of their close loss to the MI Playmakers to give them a shot at the finish. 

CONNOR DREW – 2021 – PF – ALL IOWA ATTACK RED 2021
Drew had a very consistent effort Saturday as he led his team in scoring and rebounding in a couple games. The ’21 post prospect used his size and footwork really well down low and made some nice moves inside to the bucket for finishes. He also displayed his ability to shoot a bit hitting a couple three-balls in one contest. He scored 18 points and 15 points in two of the games respectively. 

JAMAL FULLER – 2020 – SF – PEOPLES BASKETBALL
Fuller showed some sneaky athleticism for a guy his size as he used great footwork and some quick moves around the basket to keep his opponents off center and score going past them around the blocks. Fuller hit a few short-range shots, finished at the rim and played with great energy throughout, getting himself some interest from coaches with his 22 points and all-out effort.

LOGAN GESSLER – 2020 – G/F – WI SURGE
Gessler made a number of really nice plays going at the basket and shooting the ball for Surge on Day 3. He finished well and also shot the ball really well, sinking a pair of three’s in the game and ending the contest with 17 points to lead his team. 

ZACH HOWELL – 2022 – SF – YANDERS LAW
Howell took a minute to get rolling in Yanders' earlier win over the Blizzard, but he played with tenacity. Once he got a feel for the bottom of the nets with his shot though he was really good and knocked down 4 triples and finished while attacking the rim with good aggression also, finishing with 18 points and affecting the game with his rebounding also.

BRODEN LIEN – 2021 – SF – GAIN ELITE
Lien played tough throughout Gain's big win in the afternoon Saturday. He made a number of nice moves attacking the rim and showed his capability to hit the perimeter shot as well in knocking down a three. He tallied 17 points in the winning effort. 

TANNER RESCH – 2021 – PG – WI SWING
Resch played a solid game for Swing with his effort on both ends of the court. Offensively though, the scrappy guard made plays attacking the hoop, got to the free throw line and hit several of his attempts, and sank a three-pointer to finish with 19 points in the Swing victory. 

COLTON RODERICK – 2021 – SF – GAIN ELITE 
Not to be outdone by his teammate Lien, Roderick also went off for 17 points in the afternoon win for Gain. He did more of his work from behind the arc, burying 3 three’s in the game, but also made a couple plays going to the rim for the finish.

TOMMY PINEGAR – 2022 – SG – CARROLL GO L1VE
Pinegar was an Diego from the three-point line for CGL. The young scoring guard hit shot after shot for his team, knocking in 6 triples for all 18 of his points to lead his team.

ISAAC TRAUDT – 2022 – G/F – LINCOLN SUPREME
Traudt had a solid effort throughout for Supreme in their game Saturday afternoon. He made plays attacking the basket, but also showed off his shooting abilities and drained 3 three’s in the game to lead the way for his team.

SLEEPERS
DANIEL DELMOTTE – 2020 – F – TEAM FOCUS

Delmotte finished with 15 points for his team in doing a really nice job finishing around the basket. He also hit a three-pointer in the game. 

TYSON EDMONDSON – 2021 – G – MICHIGAN WARRIORS
Edmondson was awesome from beyond the arc Saturday afternoon and showed some ability to create off the dribble as well. He had 15 points off 5 treys in the game.

ALAN GEE JR – 2020 – PG – MOTOR CITY GRIZZLIES
Gee Jr. played with outstanding effort as the Grizzlies mounted a comeback. The guard prospect buried a couple clutch three's down the stretch to help put them in striking distance in the closing minutes and finished with 14 points, hitting 3 three's overall. 

EVAN PORTO – 2022 – SG – KESSEL HEAT
Porto put on a really nice shooting display for Kessel in a game Saturday afternoon. He dialed up and drained 5 three’s for all 15 of his points to lead his team. 

RAHMON SCRUGGS – 2020 – PG – UTS ELITE MICHIGAN 
Scruggs was scrappy and showed great leadership commanding his team in a tough win earlier Saturday he also made a few nice shots, including 1 three-pointer, and was good attacking the rim. He finished with 13 points.
