The Generation Next Basketball Association has served as a development and launching pad for some of the top high school prospects in the country.  An alumni list that includes Tyler Herro (Kentucky), Courtney Ramey (Formerly Louisville), Jordan McCabe (West Virginia), Ethan Henderson (Arkansas), Jontay Porter (Missouri), etc. is just a sample of the many talented standouts that utilized the middle school development proving grounds to launch regionally and nationally.  With each passing year the elite list of prospects continues to grow and the class of 2020 is no exception as Jalen Suggs of Minnehaha Academy in Minnesota is firmly entrenched as a top 5 prospect nationally.

A GNBA circuit standout for years at the middle school level, the former Generation Next All-Star Camp MVP has continued his ascent nationally with a host of offers and an invitation to the USA Basketball Camp this past fall.  A two sport standout (football), Suggs is a floor general equipped with a 6-3 185 pound frame that he utilizes to dominate opposing guards athletically, physically, and skill wise.  Suggs handles the ball well, he can change gears fluidly, he has the ability to breakdown opposing guards in transition and in half court sets, his perimeter stroke is smooth at each level, and he has the ability and instincts to create and control the tempo in dominant fashion.  The sky continues to be the limit for the elite national talent and schools from coast to coast are already filling up his recruiting trail in impressive fashion.

Suggs currently holds offers from Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Wake Forest, Iowa, Maryland, UCLA, Minnesota, UNLV, Memphis, Kansas, Arizona State, Washington State, Baylor, Marquette, and Clemson.  Duke and Kentucky are a couple other high caliber programs that have kicked the tires on the talented guard.  Still developing and taking aim at prestigious invitations and some of the biggest blue blood schools in the country, Suggs has continued his progression and has firmly established himself as one of the premiere must watch prospects in the country.

He plays with the Grassroots Sizzle program during the grassroots travel season.
