The NY2LA Sports event calendar in 2016 will once again offer up some of the premiere middle school and high school basketball platforms in the country.  Here’s a quick look at the updated schedule of upcoming events so far and stay tuned for potential updates…

UPCOMING SPRING & SUMMER TOURNAMENTS

NEXT LEVEL INVITATIONAL 
July 6-10, 2016 – Milwaukee, WI
The July “live” evaluation period will once again serve as an important part of the summer travel season and Milwaukee will be front and center as always with this annual tournament.  Held again during the first of three July evaluation periods, this tournament annually draws coaches from across the country with close to 1000 in attendance over the course of the 5 days in 2014.  Annually an excellent platform for the teams and Division 1, 2, 3, NAIA, and NJCAA schools, the Next Level Invitational will be open to boys 14U-17U teams with multi-team discounts available.  

NY2LA SPORTS SUMMER JAM
July 13-17, 2016 – Milwaukee, WI
The second July “live” evaluation period always has a bit more of a national feel to it and few, if any, tournaments in the country have created more buzz and seen more talent come through annually than the NY2LA Summer Jam.  Regarded by most as one of the best events in the country annually, last year’s tournament featured teams from across the country and across the globe with close to 1500 college coaches in attendance over the course of the tournament.  Past alumni of this event include some of the biggest names on the circuit in recent years including Karl Anthony-Towns, Emmanuel Mudiay, Frank Kaminsky, Myles Turner, Rashad Vaughn, D’Angelo Russell, Cliff Alexander, Kevon Looney, Willey Cauley-Stein, Shabazz Muhammad, Branden Dawson, Mitch McGary, Glenn Robinson III, Norman Powell, R.J. Hunter, Gary Harris Jr., Jordan Mickey, Jean-Pierre Tokoto, Doug McDermott, T.J. Warren, Ray McCallum Jr., Thon Maker, Romelo Trimble, Jalen Brunson, Dennis Smith Jr., Jimmy Whitt, Luke Fischer, Deonte Burton, Duane Wilson Jr., Toby Hegner, etc.  This tournament will once again be held during the second July “live” evaluation period for Division 1 schools and it is open to boys 15U-17U teams with multi-team discounts available.

THE FINAL CHAPTER PRESENTED BY NY2LA SPORTS
July 20-24, 2016 – Las Vegas, NV
The third July "live" evaluation period will see the debut of a new platform to the NY2LA Sports events as The Final Chapter presented by NY2LA Sports will tip off in Las Vegas, Nevada.  With virtually every school in the country in Las Vegas during the final live period The Final Chapter once again promises to feature excellent exposure opportunities in front of college coaches and national scouting services.  The NCAA Certified tournament has 15U-17U divisions and it will offer up pool play and single elimination bracket play with programs already committed to attend from across the country.  Las Vegas and the grassroots travel circuit is always hot the final period of July and this year it will get even hotter with the debut of The Final Chapter presented by NY2LA Sports.

GENERATION NEXT ALL-STAR GAMP
August 13-14, 2016

Open to current 7th & 8th grade boys

This annual middle school camp is one of the premiere camps in the country with an alumni that includes the likes of Jabari Parker, Kevon Looney, Tyus Jones, Marcus Paige, Siyani Chambers, Deonte Burton, Duane Wilson Jr., Dominique Collier, Riley Lachance, Charlie Moore, etc.  Open to boys 7th-8th grade prospects, the camp offers up skill stations, full length game play, etc. each day.  Lunch is available to campers each day and all registered participants will receive a reversible jersey, customized t-shirt, socks, towel, etc.  For more information on the annual Generation Next All-Star Camp CLICK HERE

JUNIOR GENERATION NEXT CAMP

Launched a few years back the Junior Generation Next Camp has quickly become an excellent development camp for young talent looking to improve and compete.  With a focus on skill development, some individual instruction, and game play, the Junior Generation Next Camp helps to continue to lay the foundation for young 5th and 6th graders to improve while also giving them a national platform to showcase their current skills during game play.  Lunch is available to campers each day and all registered participants will receive a reversible jersey, customized t-shirt, socks, towel, etc.  For more information on the annual Junior Generation Next Camp CLICK HERE
