After a breakout summer playing with D Rice Elite, 2025 Parker LePla has earned himself a pair of division two offers. Both Michigan Tech and Northwood University have offered the 6’8” power forward of Goodrich High School in Michigan.

The two offers from the in-state colleges are his first scholarship offers for the junior. Northwood offered him first back in July and then Michigan Tech offered him this past weekend on a visit to the upper peninsula school.

“The visit went great,” he said about the trip to Michigan Tech which was his first college visit. “I love the culture of the school and the area.” As well to the offers, he is also receiving from both division one and two schools across the region. Some of the other programs currently showing interest include Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Grand Valley State, Hillsdale, Saginaw Valley State, and Wisconsin-Parkside.

At both the NY2LA Summer Jam and Final Chapter tournaments, LePla was one of the top big men at the 16U level. At the Summer Jam to start off the July live periods he helped D Rice Elite advance to the semifinals of a strong 16U field. Then at the Final Chapter they were able to advance all the way to the title game as well to having a couple impressive wins in showcase games over the Illinois Wolves and Mac Irvin Fire. LePla was a big piece of his team’s success with his play on both ends of the floor.

“I can score inside and outside. Whether it’s a three or attacking off the dribble and playing back to the basket. I can defend outside and inside as well. I’m also the hustle player getting rebounds and block,” he said talking about his own game.
