Not to be outdone by the top performers and stock boosters, these five sophomores have plenty of game and all impressed over the course of the Spring Extravaganza this past weekend.

Laron Fuller – 2024 – PG – All Ohio Select

Fuller has a good ability on both ends of the floor. He really works defensively getting all over ball handlers. With his quickness and energy, he pressures the ball even while being so tough to beat. On the other end, Fuller played well on the attack often getting to the basket as well as hitting shots in the mid-range.

Terrell Gaines – 2024 – PG – Yanders Law

Gaines is a quick and active playmaking point guard. He is smart with the ball in his hands, handles the ball well and is at his best while attacking the basket. Gaines was often getting to the basket and finishing there but also passes it well on the move to create for his teammates. The sophomore can also knock down shots from the outside.

JaiQuan Holman – 2025 – PG – Illinois Predators

A skilled guard that just continues to produce. A smart playmaker with plenty of tools on the offensive end. He moves well with the ball and plays well on the attack getting into the defense creating. Holman was shooting the ball well from the outside over the weekend and can hit shots off the catch and dribble. One of the better 2025 guards around who continues to perform.

Aidan Memene – 2024 – PG – Gain Elite Minnesota

A smart playmaking point guard that not only is a skilled passer than really create for his teammates but also scored it effectively in numerous ways. Memene is a good and quick decision maker that reads the floor well. He was often playing a step ahead of the defense to create for his teammates. A crafty finisher around the paint that also knocked down shots at a high percentage.

Noah Stommes – 2024 – PF – Minnesota Comets Elite

The 6’8” forward was one of the hardest workers of the tournament. An active and aggressive player that just battles at all times on the court running the floor, fighting inside on both ends, going hard for every rebound, and playing tough defense inside. Stommes made such a great impact for his team on both ends of the floor.
