With the amount of talent in the Midwest in the 2023 class, it is hard to believe there are some highly touted players that are still flying under the radar.  In the case of G Jordan Briggs, he has gone a bit undervalued from a regional perspective that has led to many highly skilled players not getting attention that they would otherwise.  The 6’1 do it all guard is poised and primed to make himself a household name not only in Michigan but also nationally.

Briggs is the ultimate package from the guard position.  He has a natural feel for the game and makes plays whenever his team needs him to.  His ball handling skills and speed separate him for many other guards, as well as his above average court vision.  In the open floor he can find open teammates, or he can get to the rim and finish with either hand.  He has put in a tremendous amount of working improving his range on his shot and become a legit three level scorer.  His leadership ability is something that has shown to be a point of separation from other players in the region and why he has steadily become a prospect that has a tremendous ceiling.  He put that on display in full force over the spring and summer by having multiple 30 pt. games where he was clearly the best player on the floor.

His speed and size allow him to keep his opponents in front of him on defense as well as anticipate steals by playing the passing lanes and getting deflections.  Abram is the ultimate competitor who seems to get better every time he steps on the floor.  His play on the court has not just been noticed by the people in Michigan, but he is beginning to get that buzz that will allow to become a target for coaches who look to get a jump start on their recruiting for 2023.

He had a very good spring and summer travel season for the talent UTS Elite group out of Michigan that competed against many of the top travel programs in the country.  College coaches have put him down as someone that they will follow over the next 12 months and watch his progression.  We fully expect for his name to be one of the ones that you will hear a lot about in recruiting circles.
