Devin Womack ended his recruitment by making a commitment to Lake Superior State University and head coach Steve Hettinga. Womack, a 6’2” guard from Ann Arbor Huron High School (MI) and played with Reach Legends, was offered by Lake Superior State back in the end of August. During his junior season he averaged 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game.

Womack is currently the third member of Lake Superior State’s 2021 recruitment class. He joins forward Kingsley Perkins and guard Tyson Edmondson in the class. The three of them are all teammates at Ann Arbor Huron High School.

“My teammates committed there was a big impact on going to play there because I know that I’ll have some people I know before arriving to campus to help make the switch a little easier on me,” Womack stated on how his teammates impacted his college decision. He also mentioned “I know we can help each other become better players and people.”

“It is really a family like atmosphere being not a very big school,” Womack said as what he liked about Lake Superior State that helped him make this pick. He decided to make his choice now with “all the uncertainty of this year” as well to going to a school where he knows he is welcomed.
