This third session may have had the most talented 17U field of all the sessions. These ten all did extraordinary performances to stand out.

Patrick Baldwin Jr. – TH 2021 – G
An incredibly talented senior that is unguardable at times. At 6’11” with his ability to create separation off the dribble and hit tough shots there is nothing defenders can do. Also gets it done getting to the paint is a great finisher with his length from anywhere around the inside. Showed the ability to defend one through five with his size and quickness. His game is so well suited for the current positionless style of basketball.

Dylan Kuehl – Wisconsin Swing Bresden – G/F
The active 6’5” wing had one of the more impressive showings getting plenty done of the court. Has good strength to play big but also has plenty of skills to his game. Kuehl scored the ball well going strong to the basket but also battled around the paint for tough buckets and hit shots from the mid-range and three. Has some bounce to his game to finish at the rim. Kuehl committed to Northern Michigan over the weekend.

Michael Foster – Milwaukee Spartans – F
A highly talented forward that is able to do so much. Mismatch nightmare who can get it done in a number of ways including on the block, facing up in the mid-range, or off the dribble. Even at 6’9” with a strong build he has great moves attacking the basket. On the other end Foster is a skilled rim protector that shut down the inside.

Tyrese Hunter - TH 2021 - PG
A gifted athletic lead guard with explosive quickness and an ability to impact the game on both ends, Hunter was at his best mutliple times throughout the weekend as he created when needed, scored when the opportunity presented itself, and showed an ability to finish from all levels.  Another quality weekend of work for the Iowa State bound guard.

Cael McGee – Wisconsin RAP – G
Highly active and talented senior guard. Smart playmaker that has good feel for the game and drives tough to the basket. Good crafty finisher around the paint to do the bulk of his scoring but also dishes it out with a good passing ability. Works hard to play tough defense on the perimeter.

Keyon Menifield Jr. – UTS Elite – G
Incredibly shifty guard that no one has been able to guard. He is so good off the dribble attacking with his moves, quickness, and tight handle. A dynamic playmaker that was constantly getting into the paint to finish or kick it out.

Brandin Podziemski – TH 2021 – G
A pure scoring 6’6” wing guard with a game that will translate well to the college level. High level shooter from three with such a good-looking jump shot. While he was hitting multiple threes in a few of his games, Podziemski also scores it in the mid-range and in the paint when attacking the basket. He really works on the defensive end to match up with smaller quicker guards and does a good job of staying in front of them.

Kyle Ross – Fundamental U – F
The strong 6’8” power forward continues to be a force on the inside. Has a good build and is just a relentless worker on the floor. Ross simply battles down low to score buckets either posting up, on put backs, and rolling to the hoop. One of the better rebounders at the tournament too.

Preston Ruedinger – Mac Attack – G
The point guard had one of the more impressive scoring and distributing performances. He did a good amount of his scoring hitting threes off the catch at a high percentage. He also did a good attacking the defense to create good looks for his teammates. Smart and unselfish player who makes good decisions with a strong passing ability. Has a few division two scholarship offers and would expect the offers to continue to come in for him.

Tre Valeriano – World Hoops Elite – G
Valeriano is a quick guard who can score it from all three levels. The point guard is so tough to defend with the ball with his quickness and moves. He has a good ability to create his own shot from all over in addition to getting to the basket. Skilled scorer who can also distribute the ball and is a tough on ball defender.

Hakim Williams – Mercury Elite – G
Stat stuffing active guard that does a bit of everything on the floor. Williams is good with the ball in his hands running the point, but can also play big on defense even matching up with forwards. Has a good motor and solid frame to play tough defense and rebound well for his size. He attacks the basket strong and can finish amongst big men inside the paint. One of the more under recruited seniors in Illinois.
