With all the talent on hand for session two, there were plenty of players making a name for themselves. With so many candidates for this list, here are the ones who were most deserving of recognition.

Jalen Charity – UTS Elite – F
A bouncy 6’5” wing forward that plays with a great motor and has a versatile skill set. He moves very well going to the basket on drives and cuts plus finishes at the rim or able to get to the line a good amount. Charity moves very well and was playing tough defense all over the court.

Tony Cirillo – Chapman Basketball – G
A lanky 6’5” wing guard that proved to be one of the top shooters at the tournament. Just an absolute sniper that was hitting threes in bunches in multiple games. Hit tough contested shots as well as ones from a few a few steps beyond the arc.

Austin Ford – Illinois Jaguars – G
The 6’1” point guard did a fantastic job of attacking the basket. Ford showed off many great moves with the ball plus he accelerates so quickly to get by his man often. He was living in the paint and did a good job of finishing there too. He is a crafty finisher around the basket.

Ashton Johnson – Focus Premier – G
Johnson is at his best attacking the basket, but he did a bit of everything to help his team. The point guard plays with good strength to overpower defenders to get to the basket and finish there. He also contributed plenty by distributing, rebounding, and playing quality perimeter defense.

Nick Martinelli – Fundamental U – F
Skilled 6’6” wing forward that can score it in bunches. Takes the ball hard to the paint and just could not be stopped. Very tough matchup with his driving ability and size. As well to his driving skills, he showed a good passing ability to make him that much tougher to defend. Expect a big high school season with his brother, Dominic having moved on to Northwestern.

Trey Redd – Midwest Prospect Academy – G
Athletic point guard that did a great job of distributing the basketball. He has great court awareness and vision when he penetrates the defense. Good team player that set up his teammates often for open baskets. Redd changes his speed and directions well to get into the defense often and create.

Andrew Rohde – TH 2022 – G
When Rohde had his opportunities, he made them fully count with his hot shooting. Very active without the basketball to get himself good looks at the basket. In addition, he has deep range beyond the arc plus good length to be able to get his shot off.

Brady Spaulding – Comets – F
Spaulding is a versatile 6’7” forward the contributed the most with his defensive ability. Plays with very good energy and is a good versatile defender. At his best defending inside, but can just as easily guard out on the wing. He defends the paint nicely blocking a few shots in a single game. Added some baskets posting up on the block as well as on the drive.

Brady Titus – UTS Elite – G
Titus is a quality scoring point guard. He is quick with the ball in his hands and has tight handle to drive the basket often. Does a very good job of beating his man off the dribble. Showed good court awareness while on the move attacking. He shoots the basketball at a high percentage off the dribble or spotting up from all over the court.

Marcus Tomashek – JH1 Elite – G
Tomashek is a guard with some size at 6’3” that does a good job of scoring the basketball. Scored the ball very well shooting it from three with deep range but also was able to take it to the basket and finish. Able to make a good impact playing on or off the ball.
