Ranked #1 in the state, River Rouge, is led in the one of the top combo guards and his name is Keyshawn Devlin.  The 6’0 junior guard is making a name for himself this season by playing and shooting the ball at a very high level.

Devlin and the Panthers have a 17-1 record and most of that is due to his play.  He is averaging 20 points per game by shooting 49% from the three-point line including over 70 threes made on the season.  Against East English his shooting was on full display, making eight in the contest finishing with a season high 35 points.

LaMonta Stone, his high school coach at River Rouge, spoke to us about his season and shooting ability. “He is by far the best shooter in the state. Keyshawn has been our most consistent shooter and ball handler since the season started.”

Colleges across the state of Michigan are beginning to express interest in this high-level shooting point guard and should continue to garner more interest as the season continues.
