Illinois has a number of talented prospects delivering during their senior years.  Here’s a quick look at five sharpshooters that continue to impress me each time out…

ADAM MILLER - 6’4 - G - MORGAN PARK
Miller has developed his jumper over his entire high school career. He has been an elite scorer ever since he stepped foot on the high school hardwood at Peoria Manual as a freshman. However he has become deadly from beyond the arc ever since he showed up at Morgan Park. He can catch and shoot and can fill it up off the dribble. He will be dangerous at Illinois next season!

DANTE MADDOX JR. - 6’2 - SG - BLOOM TWP
The Cal State Fullerton commit has always been a nice shooter. However, what’s most impressive about him as a shooter is how efficient he is. He shoots a high percentage and always will take a good jumper if given space. Loves to shoot it off the dribble and can fill it up from way beyond the three point arc.

CONNOR KOCHERA - 6’4 - SG - ST. VIATOR
Kochera has come out firing in his senior season. The William & Mary commit rarely misses when he's open. I would say you have a better chance of seeing a UFO than seeing him miss an open three. He loves the catch and shoot and is really good at setting up his cuts and coming off flare screens. He has a quick release that allows him to get off shots even when defenders are in his grill.

JAYDEN JOHNSON - 6’4 - SG - BATAVIA
Johnson has made his name off knocking down three point jumpers. He is extremely valuable for the Bulldogs when it comes to him running off screens. He tends to knock them down on the catch and shoot but can also score it off the dribble if he creates enough space.

MATT AMBROSE - 6’3 - SG – STEVENSON
It doesn't hurt to be the son of a coach. Ambrose has one of the smoothest jumpers you will see at the high school level. He loves coming ball screens and his overall game helps him create jumpers because of his ability to get to the rim. I love him as a D2 college player next year as he is as soft on the rim as any shooter I have seen at the high school level.
